No, our diapers are not biodegradable. Currently the state of technology does not allow for a completely biodegradable diaper and most diaper companies which claim to use biodegradable materials often fail to mention that the biodegradable materials used in diapers are only biodegradable in ideal conditions that are often not present in actual real world situations. For example, most biodegradable materials are anaerobically biodegradable, meaning they only biodegrade when there is a lack of oxygen. For used diapers thrown as waste, this condition is often not met, meaning the diapers will still remain intact.

While Cozycove diapers aren’t biodegradable, we’re are Plastic Neutral Certified and working toward creating a recyclable diaper that’s safe for babies and kind to the earth.

Yes, like all disposable diapers, Cozycove diapers do contain some plastic. Plastic is currently essential to make diapers waterproof and highly absorbent. 

That said, we are on a mission to remove single-use plastics and reduce plastic leaching from everyday life. Our diapers are made with non-toxic, skin-safe materials and are free of VOCs, pesticides, and heavy metals, verified through third-party testing to ensure the utmost safety for your baby.

SAP stands for Super Absorbent Polymer, which is what allows a diaper to stay absorbent. SAP can absorb many times its weight in liquid, keeping your baby dry and comfortable for hours. Every disposable diaper contains SAP because it’s essential for locking in moisture and preventing leaks.

At Cozycove, we use premium SAP and carefully select the safest materials for our diapers. They are third-party tested and free from VOCs, dioxins, and pesticides to ensure the utmost safety for your baby.

Because of the high quality SAP used in our absorbent cores, we do not use pulp in our baby diapers! This means we do not cut down any forests in the production of our baby diapers.

Cozycove has partnered with SEArcular by Greencore. For every gram of plastic we use, an equivalent amount is collected and responsibly recycled, preventing it from entering our oceans. Additionally, we are going further to achieve our vision of a net-zero diaper waste future, we plan to become diaper neutral, by recycling one used diaper for every diaper purchased.

Returns are accepted only if customers have received the wrong items, or damaged  products. Customers are advised to check all products upon delivery and take photos of the received condition of the products including upon opening of the any packaging. To be eligible for a refund on your return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened or unused (the same number of unused pieces as ordered), and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Items that have been partially utilized (less than the number of pieces purchased) will not be eligible for returns. Please note that damages or wrongly delivered items reported after 14 days of receipt of an order are not accepted.
